Dawn Farm has a full-time midnight counselor position available at Spera. The hours are 12am – 8am, 5 days a week.
Spera Counselors admit clients, complete assessments and recovery planning, discharge and refer clients, attend staff meetings, obtain CADC certification or plan for certification (paid for by Dawn Farm), answer phones, monitor clients, are knowledgeable about 12-step recovery, facilitate groups, check blood pressures, help with medications, complete laundry and general house cleaning, etc.
Must be at least one year out of Dawn Farm services if you have used Dawn Farm treatment services.
Good candidates are reliable, empathetic, patient, flexible, collaborative, honest, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
